- **Event Description**: Celebrate winter at Riverwood with a family-friendly drop-in! Stop into the MacEwan Barn anytime between 10:00 am and 2:00 pm to craft your own cookie-cutter bird feeder. Staff will be on hand to guide you and chat about our winter birds.

While your feeder sets, enjoy a self-guided walk with birdseed and a trail map. After your stroll, return to the barn to collect your finished feeder and warm up with a hot drink. This program is free to attend; please donate what you can to support our work that protects Riverwood’s bird habitat.

Important Information

All ages welcome; children must be supervised. Binoculars are available to borrow during the duration of the program. A Bird Checklist will be provided.

Dress for the weather. Consider winter boots, crampons/boot spikes, or a walking stick depending on conditions. This is a rain or shine event, unless severe weather is in the forecast.

No dogs permitted, service animals welcome.
