Be a Santa to a Senior 2025 - Mississauga Seniors Centre

Home Instead is proud to be partnering with the Mississauga Senior Citizen's Centre for this year’s Be A Santa to A Senior® program!
The annual Be A Santa to A Senior® (BASTAS) program spreads holiday cheer to older adults who may be experiencing loneliness or facing financial hardship. Since launching the BASTAS program, Home Instead has helped deliver more than 2 million gifts to isolated and underserved seniors across North America.

Participating is easy! Visit the Mississauga Senior Citizen's Centre and choose a Home Instead paper ornament from the Christmas tree near the front desk. Each ornament includes a gift request along with the name of the senior who made it. Simply purchase the gift, wrap it or place it in a gift bag, and return it to the same tree with the ornament attached. This helps Santa deliver the gift to the right person!

All gifts will be collected by December 15th to ensure they’re delivered in time to brighten someone’s Christmas Day.

This year, Home Instead is also partnering with the Alzheimer Society of Peel to ensure every gift reaches a senior who needs it most. Help us spread the word and bring joy to the seniors in our community this holiday season!
