Specific Details:
This is a one day four round event using modified tournament rules as published by CMON:
https://asoiaf.cmon.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/03/SIF-Tournament-Guideline.pdf
The key difference is that this is an ELO handicapped event, meaning how you perform will be modified by the ELO of your commander. Commanders with high ELO ratings will score less tournament points, and commanders with low ELO ratings will score more tournament points. This is to encourage players to play with a more diverse set of commanders.
In a normal tournament, a win earns you 3 tournament points (TPs), a draw earns you 2 TPs, and a loss earns you 1 TP (a forfeit earns 0 TPs.)
Here is an example of ELO handicapped scoring:
Oberyn Martell is currently rated by asoiaf-stats at (+64.138.)
Great Jon Umber is currently rated by asoiaf-stats at (-49.724.)
If the player using Oberyn Martell wins, they will earn about 2.2 TPs for the win, 1.4 TPs for the draw, and 0.7 TPs for the loss.
Conversely, if the player using Great Jon Umber wins, they will earn about 4.2 TPs for the win, 2.8 TPs for the draw, and 1.4 TPs for the loss.
You can explore the ELO ratings and play with the matchup outcomes here:

Each round a random mission will be rolled from the pool of valid tournament game modes published in the above document. The same game mode cannot be selected twice.
Players may bring up to two 40 point lists from the same faction. Terrain will be rolled on the Battlefield Layouts table by the tournament organizer, and everyone will use the same result. The same battlefield layout cannot be selected twice.
Lists will be due by midnight on Friday October 17th.
Anything may be used that is found on the stats builder from:
https://asoiaf-stats.com/
All models in an army must be represented by the appropriate A Song of Ice and Fire/Dark Sword miniatures. Proxies may not be used. Conversions for models and/or units are acceptable, but must be readily recognizable as the model/unit in question, and must be composed primarily of A Song of Ice and Fire/Dark Sword miniature components.
There will be prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and best painted.
