The City and the Mission Viejo Chamber of Commerce are celebrating the 250th Anniversary of the Declaration of Independence at this year’s event. The 5K Fun Run begins at 8:30 am and will take place on the beautiful Oso Creek Trail. The race will start and end at the Norman P. Murray Community and Senior Center, 24932 Veterans Way. The Kid's Run is a fun course for kids of all abilities. The Kid's Run starts at 10 am and features quarter- and half-mile races.

One hundred percent of your pre-registration fee will go to a nonprofit of your choice. Early registration ends at 7 pm on Friday, February 20. Register before then to receive an event T-shirt and discounted fees. After that, the cost to participate increases.

There will also be a free Community Health Fair with health and wellness organizations offering free screenings, giveaways and handouts.
