September: This session is all about archery! Participants will learn safety rules and techniques on how to shoot archery while participating in archery shooting at our outdoor archery range. All equipment is provided.
October: This session is all about nature and adventure. Enjoy a guided hike through our scenic trials as we explore sights, sounds, and colors of fall! Along the way we will gather materials to use in creating nature-inspired crafts!
November: This session is all about outer space! Participants will step in to our planetarium and journey through the stars. Discover the stories behind the constellations, learn how to identify them in the night's sky, and explore the wonders of space in an immersive, hands-on experience.
At Camp Tapawingo, we want to provide opportunities for youth and families to explore nature, learn new skills, and have fun. Through our Homeschool Program Series, we are providing just that. Each participant is required to have an adult with them… Better yet, we encourage the adults to explore and learn with their child! Younger siblings are allowed to attend and participate with their family. At a minimum, each participant's adult must be within sight and sound of their youth.
This homeschool Program Series is geared towards students in homeschool settings or virtual learning environments, but it is also open to students in public or private schools. If you have no school days or are on summer break, you are more than welcome to register for a session and join in on the fun!
Things to bring: Dress for the weather. The activities will be primarily outdoors. A small backpack with bug spray, sun screen, hats, gloves, water, and a snack is recommended.

Who: Ages 4 - 15, All children must be accompanied by an adult - this is not a drop-off program
