- **Event Description**: The 2026 Vail Trail Running Series closes out with the MeadowGold 11K and 5K, presented by the Town of Minturn.

11K runners will ascend technical singletrack on the beautiful West Grouse Trail with multiple stream crossings and fields of blossoming wildflowers. At the high point and nearly half-way through the 11K race, runners will begin the descent on Line Shack Trail with open views of Vail Mountain and the Gore Range. 

5K runners will enjoy a 1.5 mile ascent on Line Shack Trail, through mountain meadows and past old homesteads before making a u-turn and quickly descending to the finish line.
