Dear Ward County 4-H Families,
We are excited to share an important opportunity for our youth involved in animal exhibitions. The Youth for the Quality Care of Animals (YQCA) program provides essential education on animal care, food safety, and the responsibilities of agricultural producers. This program helps ensure our youth understand their role in providing safe and high-quality products to consumers.
Registration for the 2025 YQCA certification is now open. Youth exhibiting beef, dairy, goats, poultry, rabbits, sheep, or swine at the 2025 North Dakota State Fair must complete their YQCA certification by 07/15/2025 to be eligible to exhibit their livestock. Please note: YQCA is not required for participation in Ward County 4-H Achievement Days.
