Ward County 4-H Livestock Judging Team Kickoff Meeting - Monday, December 22, 2025
Have you ever wondered what the judge looks at during a livestock show? Do you want to learn more about livestock, but do not own an animal?
We invite you to join 4-H Livestock Judging – an excellent opportunity build your self-confidence and connect with others who share your passion about livestock. These contests help you develop important skills like evaluating and selecting livestock, while also boosting your communication and decision-making abilities. These skills are not only valuable in livestock projects, but also in career development!
The 4-H livestock judging contest teaches you how to evaluate livestock and defend your choices. Participants will judge classes, including beef cattle, Boer goats, sheep, and swine.
