Thursday Evening Advent Study: What Do You Fear?

Found Family, if your days are packed and your soul is tired, this one’s for you.

On Thursday evenings at 7:00 p.m. (December 4, 11, and 18), we’ll gather at Minooka United Methodist Church in Minooka, IL for an Advent study called “What Do You Fear? Insisting on Hope This Advent.”

Together we’ll:
- Sit with ancient stories of people who were afraid (just like us)
- Notice what God does—and doesn’t—do in those moments
- Talk about where we see fear, courage, and hope in our own lives today

You don’t need to read anything ahead of time. We’ll read the passages aloud in the group and learn as we go. This is a relaxed, come-as-you-are space—jeans, hoodies, and post-work wear all welcome.

Let us make room for honest fears and stubborn hope this Advent.
