Sunday Morning Advent Study: What Do You Fear?

Friends, Advent is a season of honest questions and stubborn hope—and you’re invited to bring both.

Join us on Sunday mornings at 8:00 a.m. (November 30; December 4, 14, and 21) at Minooka United Methodist Church in Minooka, IL for an Advent study called “What Do You Fear? Insisting on Hope This Advent.”

We’ll explore scripture together, paying attention to:
- What the text says
- What it leaves unsaid
- What history and tradition can teach us
- How our own experiences shape the way we read

No prior Bible knowledge is needed. Come with your questions, your coffee, and your whole self. This is a gentle, discussion-based space—no one put on the spot, no “right answers” required.

Let us insist on hope together this Advent.

All are welcome—kids, teens, adults, skeptics, and lifelong church folks alike.
