For many of us, Christmas isn’t all merry and bright. If this season feels heavy—because of loss, stress, worry, or loneliness—you are not alone.
Join us for a Longest Night (Blue Christmas) Service on Saturday, December 20 at 6:00 p.m. at Minooka United Methodist Church in Minooka, IL.
This gentle, contemplative service will include:
- Quiet music and candlelight
- Scripture and prayers of lament and hope
- Space to name our grief, anxiety, or exhaustion
- A reminder that God is with us in the dark as well as the light
There’s no pressure to “be cheerful” here. You can come and simply sit, breathe, and be held in community and in God’s love.
Let us hold space for one another and embody hope, even on the longest night.
All are welcome—no matter where you are on your faith journey.
