Join us July 18th, 2026 in Winona, MN for the 7th year of the race that started it all!
In the spring of 2019, an idea was born—to organize an inclusive trail event called Storm the Farm, welcoming participants of all abilities. This event aimed to showcase the challenging terrain of the driftless area while supporting local youth mental health organizations.
With the support of 148 individuals in the first year, Storm the Farm not only became a reality but also marked the inception of Storm Sporting Events. Today, we are pleased to share our growth with four trail events in The Storm Trail Race Series, the Trail Running Film Festival, and the Trinona adult and kids triathlons.
Together, as a community, we are making a difference by raising funds for programs and scholarships dedicated to providing essential services in youth mental healthcare.

The Race will be held at Briggs Outdoors. You will get to experience the steep climbs, open prairies, and wooded single-track trails that the bluffs in the Driftless Region of Southeast Minnesota has to offer. We will have distances of 5k, 10k, 21k, 30k, and an Ultra 43k distance.
REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED PRIOR TO RACE DAY! There will NOT be race day registrations.
THERE ARE NO DOGS ALLOWED AT THIS EVENT! THE VENUE IS A WORKING FARM WITH ANIMALS OF THEIR OWN AND DOES NOT ALLOW OTHER DOGS ON SITE!
