Special guest Leigh Finke, the first openly transgender member of the Minnesota legislature, has been serving in the MN House since 2022 for District 66A. Leigh is the chair of the Queer Legislators’ Caucus and is a committed and passionate advocate for 2SLGBTQIA+ equality, abortion rights, Pr*son justice, and environmental equity. She was named Minnesota Woman of the Year by USA Today in 2023, a 2023 Changemaker by Minnesota Public Radio, and won the 2023 Health Hero Award at Children’s Minnesota. Musical guest Chastity Brown, is a folk, rock, and blues singer/songwriter. Based in Minnesota, but with roots in Tennessee, Chastity grew up surrounded by country and soul music. In the full gospel church of her childhood, she played saxophone and drums and found her singing voice and a passion for music.
