Join us to hear Twin Cities PBS President and CEO, Sylvia Strobel, reflect on this turning point for public media and share how Twin Cities PBS is building a strong, independent future in time for its 70th anniversary. She will be joined in conversation by Ernesto Londono, The New York Times correspondent and fellow Minneapolis Club member.Sylvia Strobel joined Twin Cities PBS in February 2020. She has worked for more than 30 years in the public media industry as an executive and attorney, with positions at ideastream, American Public Media Group, Pennsylvania Public Television Network, and the Corporation for Public Broadcasting. Sylvia currently serves on the boards of America’s Public Television Stations (APTS), MacPhail Center for Music, The Amherst H. Wilder Foundation, the St. Paul Area Chamber and Latino Public Broadcasting. Sylvia received her Bachelor of Arts in Biology from St. Olaf College, her Juris Doctorate (JD) from Mitchell Hamline School of Law, and her Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Business.Ticket Price Includes a Plated Lunch.Open to the Public.
