In this Somatic Yoga workshop you will learn about the science and philosophy of somatics through the lens of yoga and the 5 Koshas, as well as techniques to apply to a daily practice. This workshop will consist of both discussion and practice.

Somatic Yoga is a slow, exploratory practice used to reeducate the muscles, connective tissues, and nervous system in order to release chronic muscle tension and enhance awareness. The practice fosters a deeper understanding of habituated patterns that can lead to tension, pain, and imbalance.
