- **Event Description**: Join us for our annual celebration to Robert Burns, was a Scottish poet and lyricist. He is widely regarded as the national poet of Scotland and is celebrated worldwide. He is the best known of the poets who have written in the Scots language, although much of his writing is also in English and a light Scots dialect, accessible to an audience beyond Scotland. He also wrote in standard English, and in these writings his political or civil commentary is often at its bluntest (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_Burns) 

We celebrate with music, poetry and of course a 3 course meal of soup or salad, Haggis, tatties and neeps and finish off with a lovely Scottish dessert. This year we will also be offering a special Single Malt Scotch at a discounted price to compliment your meal. 

The room is small so space is limited. Please contact the pub with your group size (we will ask for a 25.00 deposit for each guest which will go towards your final bill in the evening) we may also ask you to sit with other people during the event (Full parties of 4, 6 and 8 will not sit with others)

Let us know if you would like to read a poem as well - special gift to everyone that reads - we can provide a poem or you can share one of your favorites (advance notice is necessary)
