Award-winning musician Peter Himmelman will talk about his book Suspended By No String, A Songwriter’s Reflections on Faith, Aliveness, and Wonder. His book is a collection of essays, personal narrative, and poetical reflections for readers of all spiritual stripes - those who are devout, those who aren't sure what to believe, and those who may not be religious in a traditional sense but who nevertheless want to build a relationship with a force infinitely beyond themselves. Saint Louis Park native Peter Himmelman is a Grammy- and Emmy-nominated rock and roll performer, songwriter, film composer, visual artist, and award-winning author. He has been profiled in Time, Rolling Stone, The Wall Street Journal, Tablet, and NPR. As the founder of Big Muse, a creative consultancy that helps organizations unlock imagination, empathy, and original thinking through music, storytelling, and the arts, he has lectured at Fortune 100 companies, major universities, and institutions around the world.
