Holm and Awend have assembled a cast of some of the Twin Cities’ finest musicians from the bluegrass, folk, and country blues scenes to pay tribute to the movie and soundtrack that ignited a roots music revival and continues to this day to be a major inspiration on upcoming musicians.Featuring a lineup of Jillian Rae, Mother Banjo, Doug Otto, Art Hoffman, Amanda Awend, Dan Tanz, Beth Supple, Shane Akers, Amy Rajkowski, and John Baillie, this concert will take you on a musical journey back to the 1930’s American South. The night will kick off with a set of other favorite songs of the era and inspired by the era as selected by the performing musicians, followed by a complete performance of the soundtrack.
