- **Event Description**: Since 1892, Music in the Parks has provided residents and families opportunities to gather and enjoy local music throughout the summer. Since its inception thousands of free concerts have taken place. Concerts are weekly and vary from classic rock, hip hop, international, funk and many more genres of music. 

This week at the Lake Harriet Bandshell we are hosting Just Dave and the Rockin' AllStars, a rock band that plays hits from the 60s, 70s, and 80s. All band members have been performing rock for over 60 years. They are not a tribute band -- all the talented musicians of the Rockin' All Stars are original members of popular Twin Cities rock groups back in the 60's (Gregory Dee and the Avanties, DelCounts, and the Castaways). These popular 60's bands had hit recordings and were then honored by being inducted into the Minnesota Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Because the musicians in this band were original members of these 60's bands and are Hall of Famers, we named the group The Rockin' All Stars.
