- **Event Description**: Bookstore Romance Day is back with its eighth annual celebration on Saturday, August 15th, and we’re so excited to announce that the Minneapolis Indie Bookstore Romance Day Crawl is returning as well! We're back with another punch card bookmark for you to participate in from Friday, August 14th to Sunday, August 16th!

We’ve got great prizes again this year, including a new exclusive commemorative pin for the first 800 folks to complete their bookmark (designed by Tropes & Trifles - while supplies last)! The grand prize winner will receive a $20 gift card to all 8 stores plus swag and store merch! We also will have several additional runner-up prizes available - keep an eye out for details on the gift cards and goodies you could win! New this year we will also have themed temporary tattoos available for ALL participants to pick up at any participating store!

How to enter:
1. Pick up a special Minneapolis BRD bookmark from any of the participating stores and get it punched between Friday, August 14th and Sunday, August 16th, 2026.
2. Visit all 8 stores to get a punch on each store’s logo.
3. Fill out your contact information at the bottom of the bookmark.
4. At your final bookstore, a bookseller will verify you have all 8 punches, tear off the bottom of your bookmark with your contact information, and voilà! You are now entered to win!

Entries will be collected from all 8 stores, so you can get your punches in whatever order your heart takes you! 

Limit ONE entry per person. You MUST have all 8 punches to receive a pin and to be entered into the grand prize drawing. Grand prize winner will be contacted and announced on Thursday, August 20th, 2026.

We have 8 wonderful Minneapolis stores on the bookmark this year: Big Hill Books, Birchbark Books, Comma, A Bookshop, Inkwell Booksellers Company (new this year!), Magers & Quinn Booksellers, Moon Palace Books, Tropes & Trifles and Wild Rumpus Books
