The Aquatennial Ambassador Organization (AAO) is a dynamic development organization that inspires young Minnesota women to acheive extraordinary futures by creating opportunities through work with their communities and AAO.

Near the end of the Aquatennial Festival, the Aquatennial Ambassador Organization will crown the "Queen of Lakes" and two princesses from the candidates. These selected ambassadors will spend the year travelling across North America to promote Minneapolis and the Aquatennial and will receive educational scholarships.
