Enjoy a coffee ceremony, a final viewing & talks with the artists and curators.About this EventWe had a full house for the opening and would love to see you as we close out!Mara: 40 Years of Oromo Knowledge Making is an exhibition honoring Indigenous Oromo knowledge and the many ways communities have built, carried, and remade knowledge across generations.Mara is curated by Oromo archivist and researcher Ayantu Tibeso, archivist and artist, Ego Ahaiwe Sowinski, and designer and illustrator Matshoshi Matsufu. It is presented at Soomaal House of Art, an artist-led collective, arts organization and gallery in Minneapolis.Last week to see Mara!
