Lumen Antiqua is a professional vocal trio based in Minneapolis, weaving ancient light into modern sound. Founded in 2025 by Rachel Farhi, Jessi McKinnon, and Becca Tobin, we explore a cappella music for three treble voices drawn from across time and place.
----
Join us for our debut concert that blends ancient sounds with contemporary resonance, offering an intimate journey through music that still speaks across the centuries.
----
We'll be singing in Latin, German, Swedish, Estonian, Russian, Japanese, and more. The program will span over 800 years, from Hildegard von Bigen, to Bach and Lotti, to arrangements of melodies of old by living composers like Bianca Fugeri, Drew Collins, and Minneapolis pianist/singer/composer Dan Wanamaker.
----
A note about ticket prices: Live music is meant to be shared. While our $20 ticket price reflects the basic support we need to bring this program to life, we also know that budgets vary. If a pay-what-you-can tier helps make it possible for you to attend, please choose the option that feels right. Our community is stronger when you’re there.
