Chair Yoga Teacher Training (6 CECs)

Chair yoga teacher training is for yoga teachers and wellness professionals interested in sharing accessible and inclusive yoga practices with diverse groups, safely and confidently. In this training, you will learn:

Foundations of chair yoga: The principles of chair yoga including posture alignment, safety guidelines, and the use of props to enhance accessibility

Creative and adaptable sequences: Create dynamic and inclusive chair yoga sequences for various settings, including workplaces, senior centers, and wellness spaces

Mindfulness and breathwork: Incorporate breath awareness, meditation, and relaxation techniques into chair yoga classes to enhance physical and mental well-being

Adaptations for individual needs: Gain confidence in adjusting poses for diverse populations, including those with physical limitations, chronic conditions, or mobility challenges

Expand professional opportunities: Explore ways to integrate chair yoga into your existing offerings

This training is eligible for 6 CECs through Yoga Alliance.
