She has collaborated with Orchestra musicians and guest artists in chamber music performances throughout the United States and abroad and is a founding member of the Isles Ensemble in Minneapolis.A first prize winner in the Eckhardt-Gramatte Competition of Canada, Opgenorth has appeared as a soloist with the Edmonton Symphony and Calgary Philharmonic Orchestras and has taught at institutions including Rutgers University and the Vancouver Conservatory. She holds degrees from the University of British Columbia and The Juilliard School.Erik Wheeler, celloHouston-born cellist Erik Wheeler began his musical studies at age five and earned his undergraduate degree from Rice University before continuing his studies at The Juilliard School. A member of the Minnesota Orchestra since 2019, he served as Acting Co-Associate Principal Cello during the 2024–25 season.Wheeler has performed chamber music alongside many internationally acclaimed artists and has appeared as a soloist with numerous orchestras, including the Houston Symphony.
