Participants will meet other Girl Scouts from around the world while strengthening their leadership skills and preparing to tackle one of the Highest Awards.Training sessions will focus on preparing Girl Scouts to earn their Silver or Gold Award! Girl Scouts who have completed their Silver or Gold Award pre-requisites can count time in session (about 9-hours) on their project time log! While participants will have some opportunities to explore the local area, it is important to note that this program is first and foremost a Silver and Gold Award workshop. If your Girl Scout is not interested in earning their Silver or Gold Award, please do not sign up for this event.Training sessions include:Introduction to Highest AwardsSkills for Real-World LeadershipLeadership Styles and Team WorkProject ManagementProblem SolvingGoal SettingBudgeting and Money-EarningProject Idea WorkshoppingNavigating GoGoldAnd More!When Girl Scouts aren't sharpening their leadership skills, they will experience some of what Taipei has to offer including dinner at the Grand Hotel and a night market scavenger hunt. If your Girl Scout would like to see more of Taipei, we're also offering an optional excursion to the Taipei 101 Observation Deck on Sunday afternoon as an add-on. The excursion will include a ride on the famous high-speed elevators, taking only 37-seconds to go from the 5th to the 89th floor observation deck as well as time to explore the nearby gift shop and mall.We do not want the cost of this program to prevent any Girl Scout from attending!
