Save the date and excited to announce our summer event for 2026: Swords in the Stones

Dunster Castle 1700 to 2000

We are honoured to host Melissa Hainsworth of the Academy of Steel for our summer event,

Held within the heart of Dunster Castle, upon the ancient Tor of Dunas (once known as Dindraithou ) this three-hour longsword seminar invites participants to train in a setting shaped by centuries of legend and history.

Beneath the summer sun, on the storied hill where Arthur is said to have held court, the stones of Dunster Castle will once again echo with the ring of steel. Join us as history, skill, and martial discipline come together in a unique training experience.

The sword awaits within the castle’s enduring stone walls.
