Join us for this inaugural women’s conference at FBC Minden, featuring speaker Christine Gill and breakout sessions. It will be a sweet time of fellowship and learning with lunch, a t-shirt, and swag bag for each attendee.
Main Speaker: Christine Gill
Christine Gregg Gill grew up in Mansfield, LA, and attended Baylor University in Waco, TX, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in psychology and history. Following her time at Baylor, she was commissioned by the International Mission Board and served as a Journeyman missionary from 2003 to 2005 in Francistown, Botswana. Christine dedicated her time in Africa to sharing the love of Christ with young people while educating them about HIV/AIDS prevention.
Once she returned from overseas, Christine enrolled at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary to pursue a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Counseling. She completed her master’s degree from NOBTS in 2009 and fulfilled the requirements to become a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Louisiana in 2012. Since then, Christine has worked in the mental health field in a variety of settings.
Christine is currently serving as the Women’s Missions and Ministry Strategist for Louisiana Baptists. She is excited to work in a role where God can use her passion for missions, her heart for women’s discipleship, and her training as a counselor as she ministers to others.
Christine is married to Brad Gill, the Baptist Collegiate Ministries Director at Louisiana Christian University. They have two adult children, Rylie (Jacob) and Maxwell (Angel), and two brand-new granddaughters, Ivy and Ruthie. Christine enjoys traveling with Brad, eating a great meal, collecting vintage Pyrex bowls, and snuggling with her pups, Ollie and Lulu.
We will have intentional Bible study during the main sessions with several options for breakout sessions.
Topics to include:
Godly motherhood- Robin Tucker
Grace through grief and difficulties- Roberta Kitchens
Special session for teen girls- Jodi Tuttle
