Voas Volunteer Day

November’s Voas Volunteer Day was such a success that we are having an early spring volunteer day as well! We will continue clearing an oak savanna area that is overgrown.

We will be using loppers and handsaws to clear honeysuckle, cedar trees, and autumn olive. Several past participants have used this to fill Master Gardener volunteer hours. No heat, mosquitoes, or poison ivy. Children welcomed and encouraged. Come help us liberate these smothered “wolf” oaks.
