Wreaths Across America – Cape Canaveral National Cemetery would like to share information about our upcoming remembrance events and to ask for your help in spreading the word to our community.
Event Schedule:
Friday, December 12, 2025 –
Family & Friends Wreath Placement: 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM
Saturday, December 13, 2025 –
Family & Friends Wreath Placement: 8:00 AM – 9:30 AM
General Wreath Placement: 10:00 AM – 10:45 AM
Wreaths Across America Ceremony: 11:00 AM – 11:30 AM
Each December, Wreaths Across America honors the service and sacrifice of our nation’s veterans by placing live remembrance wreaths on the graves of our fallen heroes at more than 5,500 locations across the country. Our mission is simple but profound to Remember our fallen U.S. veterans, Honor those who serve, and Teach the next generation the value of freedom.
At Cape Canaveral National Cemetery, located at 5525 U.S. Highway 1, Mims, FL 32754, we have about 12,000 veterans laid to rest. Our goal this year is to ensure that every one of them is remembered with a wreath. We are currently 50% to our goal and still need approximately 6,000 additional wreaths sponsored to reach full coverage.
Each wreath sponsorship is $17.00, and every wreath makes a difference in remembering our heroes. When you place a wreath, you are asked to say the veteran’s name aloud ensuring that their memory lives on and that their sacrifice is never forgotten. Parking Notice:
Parking inside the cemetery is limited, so attendees are encouraged to arrive early and plan accordingly.
