Learn what bystanders can do to stop potentially fatal bleeding before professional emergency responders arrive. STOP THE BLEED® is an hour-long course that teaches individuals how to identify and treat life-threatening bleeding. The course includes a presentation from trained instructors along with hands-on application to include direct pressure, wound packing, and tourniquet application. This training is offered by Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin, utilizing the American College of Surgeons Stop the Bleed® curriculum.
