- **Event Description**: We offer and experience that explores and honors the creative and nurturing powers of "the mother". From inquiry of ways, we can experience "mother"; biologically, in a parenting role, in a nurturing role. Can we include the metaphorical; to that of a sacred body of water, or to the great mother, our earth! What are the qualities we share? What songs represent mother for us. What about the lineages of those who came before us? How do we wish to bring them forth, to honor them? With a short portion of song engagement, we set the stage of connection and mutual support of women coming together. We WILL dance our hearts out, because we can, in celebration and honor of our body's ability, and any other analogies for which we all can participate in the observance of this gracious cycle of our lives. 

We have a very special song we are wanting to challenge all participants to learn. It is called Lone Wolf. it has 3 sections. Please choose one of the sections to learn the best you can. Don't worry about perfect, just get what you can! The power of group is that you get supported by other! so, Do YOUR part, and you will have others, like others will have you! Opening 11:00 am with circle gathering at 11:15 AM. 

11:15 am - 12: noon - ish: Exploring Mother- setting context (bring a journal, a momentum that can symbolize a mother for you)

12: noon-1:45 pm Dance and celebrate 

1:45- 2:15 Closing circle- a coming together to reflect - be seen, be heard, be cherished.

payment for participation is $20.00. This can be cash at door, but better to pay in advance to help us prepare. If you pay through Venmo, or PayPal, please note: "Mother Day"
