Students will learn how to thread a sewing machine, adjust basic settings, wind a bobbin, sew straight seams and understand essential tools. We will cut and sew a simple envelope style pillow slipcover that you can take home at the end of class. Bring your own working sewing machine or borrow one of ours. All equipment provided. You can bring your own working sewing machine or borrow one of ours. This is a friendly stress-free introduction to sewing.
Materials: 1/3 yard printed 100% cotton fabric, 1 yard coordinating solid 100% cotton fabric and matching all purpose thread.  Or purchase a fabric kit for $12 at class.
Location: Class will be offered in person, at MAG ArtSpace, 9 Park Street, Milton DE.
