Save Our Tree - Milton, DE

Save Our Tree! Milton’s big, beautiful Southern Pecan tree is over 100 years old and Royal Farms wants to cut it down.

Local volunteers are organizing an in-person gathering to support our history and the environment and protest the cutting of a well-established, historical tree.

There’s also so much more to do. Here’s what we can do together today before we gather:

1. Write a letter to Royal Farms and tell them why you think it’s important to save our historic tree. Just a few minutes of your time will make a huge difference. Here’s their address:

Just imagine if 100 or more letters hit their mailbox in a couple of days. They will have to take notice that we want to save this tree.

2. Sign and share the petition. As of 11/13, 150+ signatures were added in less than 24 hours, which is an EXCELLENT start. 1,000 or more signatures will have a BIG impact on little Milton. Let’s keep adding to and sharing this petition. Here’s the link:
