Let's be real: we could all use a laugh right now. So join us at the beautiful Art Academy of Milton for some low-stakes, all-vibes fun!
The Punchlines! comedy open mic will feature:
- A microphone with a person talking into it (and that person could be you!)
- Audience members laughing (and those people could be you!)
- A charming host (and if you slash my tires beforehand, that person could be you!)
- A monthly comic-themed cocktail (who's that suavely sipping their Steve Martin-i? Could be you!)
The mic will take place on the first Wednesday of each month. Sign-ups will begin at 7:30, and the show will begin promptly at 8. Slots will be 6 minutes-ish, depending on how many sign-ups there are.
Light snacks will be available, but you should eat dinner beforehand. The bar will have a modest selection of beer, wine, soda, water, and a few mixed drink options.
FAQ: Do I need a reservation or anything?
A: Nope! Just show up - there will be plenty of seating available.
Q: Is there a cover charge?
A: No - but every dime you spend goes straight to this awesome venue, so that they can continue to host cool stuff like this - so it would be rad if you bought a few drinks / snacks.
Note: Because alcohol will be served, this event is 21+.
