Green Up Day is Saturday, May 2! Join the fun during this much-loved annual Vermont tradition to remove litter from Milton roads and waterways. Keeping Milton clean is good for our environment, good for our health, and good for our property values. As a volunteer, you make a huge difference for our environment. We know it isn’t your litter, but Milton needs your help to stay beautiful. Show your Milton pride by getting involved!

Pick up your free Green Up bags from the Milton Municipal Building lobby from April 27 through May 1, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Check out the Green Up map and highlight the area you’ll be cleaning, and grab yourself a free Green Up sticker!

Then, join us on Green Up Day, Saturday, May 2, at the Bombardier Park East pavilion from 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM. The Milton Conservation Commission and Milton Recreation Commission will be giving out FREE coffee, hot chocolate, and donuts, as well as trail brochures, extra Green Up bags, and more. Chat with the Conservation & Recreation Commissions and learn all about Milton’s trails and natural areas, programs and events. After you’re done Greening Up, leave the green bags by the roadside and the Milton Highway Department will collect the bags Monday morning. 

Don't forget to separate out those returnable bottles and cans - you can donate them to several non-profit organizations around town OR cash them in!
