Step into an experience of creativity, calm, and connection as Zen Den Bonsai Workshops brings our signature boutique bonsai experience to The Prost Office Brewery in Milton.
In this immersive two-hour workshop, you’ll learn the art and philosophy behind bonsai—potting, pruning, shaping, and wiring—guided step-by-step by seasoned instructor John Hunter. No experience needed. Just show up ready to slow down, get your hands dirty (or gloves are provided if you’d rather not), and enjoy the shared experience of creating something beautiful alongside others.
Each guest leaves with their own bonsai tree, styled by hand during the workshop, plus everything needed to care for it long after the experience ends. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, filled with conversation, smiles, and laughter—making it just as much about community and connection as it is about the art itself. Guests often leave feeling calmer, more connected, and genuinely proud of what they’ve created. It’s a refreshing alternative to the usual night out—artistic, grounding, and surprisingly fun!
