- **Event Description**: Bring a chair and join Julie at Turkle Pond on Monday night at 6:30. Frogs, bats, and beavers are noticeably very active at both ponds. Julie’s been seeing 20 or more bats nightly as they skim the pond for insects just after sunset. She’s also noticed that beavers are more active at both ponds, which may mean that they are looking for mates. Frogs are breeding and they will love the warmer temperatures. Julie will be bringing her bat detector!

Follow Turkle Pond Road past the gate and take your first left onto the unpaved road. Follow this @ 1/2 mile to the pond on the right. There’s a small parking lot at the pond but you’ll likely have to park on the side of the road. Please leave room for cars to pass.
