Are you single and looking for love? If so, you're going to LOVE Matchmaker Mondays!
That's why we've created Matchmaker Mondays: so you can get dressed up, meet like-minded people at Nonna's, and meet fabulous single people in real life...
We know that dating apps suck and everyone is sick of swiping. This event is designed to help people match people based on what's important to them, whether that's age, location, occupation, hobbies, or values and attitudes.
We will ask you to fill in a few questions before the event so that our small army of master matchmakers can find men and women suitable for you, and we will leave the food and drinks to the experts at Nonna's.
What to expect at Matchmaker Mondays:
You'll join us at Nonna's, Woburn Sands, from 7.30 pm, where you'll have plenty of time to get to know your matchmaker team and grab your drink from the bar. It's the perfect place to get to know people and have a chat.
From 8.15 pm we will start our icebreaker - Conversations & Charcuterie, where you'll get together with the other singles in your age group and get to know people on a deeper level to see who you vibe with.
Finally, if someone really catches your eye, you can ask them for a heart-to-heart (or ask us if you feel shy), and Nonna's has loads of quieter spaces where you can have a longer chat with someone you like.
The team at Nonna's will be on hand to make sure you're enjoying the delicious food and your glasses are well and truly topped up. They have the best wines, proseccos and beers available, with non alcoholic options and mocktails if you've got work the next day.
As matchmakers, we will be there to make sure you have a great evening and help to introduce you to people we think you'd be a good match with. Or, if you prefer to get to know people a bit more, you can continue to chat with the others in the room. At the end of the night, you can post a love letter in The Love Letterbox, so we will see who you match with and make some introductions for you. And we know a brilliant place you can try for your first dates, too!
Who is Matchmaker Monday's for?
It's for anyone who is serious about dating and wants to meet people in real life.
We will set up the event based on the following age groups:
-21 - 30
-31 - 45
-46 - 60
Part of the event will be a general mingle so you'll get to see who is in the room, but there will be lots of time where you'll be in a dedicated zone based on your age group.
