- **Event Description**: We are very excited to announce that we will be bringing Father Christmas back to Bletchley Poets Estate. 
We will have music playing, so listen out for us as we won’t be knocking at your door.
Our helpers will have collection buckets, and all donations will be split between Unity MK (formerly The Winter Night Shelter) and MK Act. We will also have credit card readers for contact-less donations; and you are able to donate here: https://www.paypal.com/gb/fundraiser/charity/3191662
We always try our best to get out whatever the weather, but the snow got the better of us once before and we had to cancel. It might be best not to promise anyone, just in case. If we have to cancel, we'll notify you on here.
Our route will be the same as previous years
We will start at the corner of Newton Road and Shelley Drive we will cover most of, but not necessarily all of, Shelley Drive, Milton Grove, Keats Way, Wordsworth Drive, Masefield Grove, Burns Road, Chaucer Road, Browning Crescent, Kipling Road, Cottingham Grove and Church Green Road finishing at approximately 8pm
These are the roads which we are planning to visit, but we may not travel along the whole of each road. Listen out for us, we’re quite loud!

Please don’t request that we come to your road/estate. We are out four times in total. The routes have been worked out with certain requirements in place and we are only a small club, so can’t cover every corner of Milton Keynes. Other organisations also have floats which may come near you.

Finally, please don't follow the float. We aren't a parade, and aren't licensed as such. We would hate to see any mishaps, so please stay on the pavements and wave in safety. Also, please don't follow in your car, this leads to traffic issues and potential accidents too.

- [Frank Fox | 2025-12-13 17:14:48] Quite a few years back. Bernanos used to do this. They would knock on your door for donations to help children that were not going to have a Christmas.
I used to save all my copper all year in a massive plastic beer bottle. They would come back with large buckets for me to put the money into. I felt happy I had done something to help unfortunate kids. No child should believe Santa forgot them. No matter what.
