Each will start promptly so please allow plenty of time to get to the planting site.*We are Community Trees MK and we are planting trees across the city of MK with the help of the people of MK.We are partnering with MK City Council to plant trees with the community to add to existing hedgerow on this green space on the edge of the city. The location is at the end of Belvedere Lane, Fenny Stratford. To plant trees with us you need to book places in advance.On the Day:The date is Saturday 14th February 2026. There will be two planting sessions that day:1. 10:00am-11:30am, and2. 12 noon-1:30pm.We would like to see lots of local people come along to help us plant trees. This is an open-air event so please dress for cold and potentially damp weather, please wear stout boots or shoes. Please bring gardening gloves and come ready to do some digging.No experience is required, full instruction will be given. The aim is to have fun while helping the local environment.This is a family-friendly event. Please bring your own refreshments.All under 16's to be accompanied by an adult.Equipment:Tools will be provided and will be available when you arrive.Getting to the planting site:We would really appreciate it if you were able to walk or cycle or use public transport if you can.If you need to travel by car, there is a large car park nearby which is part of Dobbies Garden Centre, which also has a cafe and toilets. Parking is free. The car park can be located on Sat Nav using postcode MK17 9JH. Our planting site is located at the end of Belvedere Lane, which is on the lefthandside as you enter the Dobbies site.
