The word mandala, meaning “circle,” originates from Sanskrit and can be traced back to India as early as the 1st century. Throughout history, mandalas have been used as tools for meditation, believed to promote balance, inner peace, and emotional healing. In this class, you will explore the calming practice of creating mandalas and experience how this ancient art form can support relaxation, focus, and overall well-being. We hope the process offers you a sense of tranquility and a deeper appreciation for this meaningful tradition.

Pet Policy: Visitors are NOT permitted to bring pets onto the WheatonArts campus. Only Service Dogs, as defined by the ADA, are welcome on the grounds.

Seats are limited and booked on a first-come, first-reserve basis. Besides an auto-generated email receipt, you will receive a confirmation email from the Director of Education and Artist Services, Pamela Weichmann. CANCELATION POLICY: Refunds are eligible up to one week before the beginning of the workshop. After this time, workshop fees are non-refundable. WheatonArts reserves the right to cancel a workshop due to minimum enrollment. If cancellation occurs, WheatonArts will refund all workshop fees. A $25 fee is charged to those who do not show up for their appointment. We require 24 hours’ notice to cancel an appointment; otherwise, it will be considered a no-show, except in the case of illness. Are you feeling unwell or showing symptoms of COVID-19?
