We’re skipping the main course and going straight for the good stuff — the side dishes! Because let’s be honest… the sides are always the best part of any holiday meal. ?✨

Think Grandma’s secret Green Bean Casserole, soul-warming Mac & Cheese, or a creative twist like Spicy Meatballs — we want to know who makes the best holiday side dish around!

?‍? How it works:

?️ $5 to Enter (1 dish per person)

? $10 to Taste & Judge the entries
? All proceeds will be donated to the Women’s and Children’s Center of Sussex County.

? Prizes will be awarded for:
? 1st Place
? 2nd Place
? 3rd Place
✨ Most Creative
? House Pick (Riverside’s Choice!)

? Rules & Details:

1️⃣ One dish per person for entry.
2️⃣ Any holiday-themed side dish or appetizer is welcome — Thanksgiving, Christmas, Easter, Hanukkah, etc.
3️⃣ Main dishes will be disqualified. (Sorry, no turkeys or hams!)
4️⃣ Dishes may include one accompaniment (ex: shrimp with cocktail sauce, rolls with butter).
5️⃣ There is no on-site prep, heating (use of ovens), or cooling, so please plan accordingly.
6️⃣ Riverside will provide plates, bowls, spoons, and forks — you must provide any   serving dishes, ladles, knifes or crockpots you need. (No use of Riverside equipment will be allowed, no exceptions)
7️⃣ We love festive flair, but table space is limited, so please no extra decorations.
8️⃣ Sign up by November 10th and let us know if your dish is hot or cold at that time so we can plan space. Cell Phone number is required at time of entry, a rough headcount will be given on the 10th so you can plan how much food to make. 
9️⃣ Tasting tickets can be purchased in advance or at the door.
