Curious about how tornadoes form and why they strike some places more than others? Join us for a clear, engaging, one-hour presentation by a tornado enthusiast who knows her stuff. We’ll explore the science behind supercells and funnels, the geographic patterns that shape “Tornado Alley,” what factors make a storm especially destructive, and a look back at several historic tornadoes and what we’ve learned from them. Slides, stories, and time for questions. All are welcome.
