Photographic Exhibitions - Opening Night

Two very different photographic exhibitions open this Friday
evening.
Georgina Campbell is a photographic artist from Edenhope, Victoria and her work explores the photograph as a sculptural object and experimenting with landscapes.

Ms Campbell teaches art at Edenhope College and runs the Artist in Residence program in the town. Her work for the exhibition is titled “Strange Loop” and features mythic landscape images from her time during an artist residency in Iceland.

Vanessa Mikutta, of Naracoorte, describes her work as capturing the beauty, character and quiet storytelling found in her travels.
Ms Mikutta’s show focuses on her 2025 travels in South Africa. There are superb portraits of a huge variety of African animals and birds as well as of people she met. Landscapes and sunsets are a
feature of her work which shows authentic moments and natural environments. She invites Gallery visitors to experience the world through her lens.

The exhibitions open this Friday February 26 at 6pm and will be on display until 5 April.
Gallery opening hours are Wednesday to Friday 10am to 4pm and Saturday and Sunday 10am to 3pm.
