# Event Details

- **Event Name**: Nature Studio: Naracoorte
- **Event Start and End Date**: Sat, 10 Oct, 2026 at 10:00 am – Sat, 10 Oct, 2026 at 03:00 pm (+10:30)
- **Event Description**: Our Nature Festival event brings the theme of SEED to life through a culturally grounded, place-based experience that nurtures learning, creativity, and connection.

Held within the Indigenous Garden at the Naracoorte National Trust, this event begins with a guided cultural walk and talk led by First Nations Elder Uncle Doug, who will share knowledge of native plants and their uses.

Participants will then take part in an art workshop led by Meintangk artist Tanya Hartman, whose work already shapes the space through her welcome mural and stepping stones. In this workshop, participants will respond to what they have seen and heard, translating their observations into expressive outcomes.

This event is part-funded through a Nature Festival regional micro-grant, generously supported by RAA and the Murraylands and Riverland Landscape Board.
