As a first generation Irish-American, Erin had the good fortune of being surrounded by Irish music, art, and wit from a very early age.  At seventeen, her mother brought her appreciation of Irish culture to America; from her Irish father, she inherited an entrepreneurial spirit, relationship-driven mentality, and the need to build a personal brand: envision a goal, chase it, and motivate to achieve it. 

Here's her Celtic Vessel story:
"During my first visit to Ireland in 1983, I first laid eyes on the Book of Kells, the magnificent 8th-century illustrated manuscripts.  While trekking through the Irish countryside, I discovered a stoneware bowl with an image from the Book of Kells.  I couldn’t afford it and I’ve regretted not buying it, as anything similar has eluded me since then.  As a result, I’ve made it my mission to craft ceramics that celebrate those beautiful images."

Erin is a member of the Millersburg Area Art Association, the PA Guild of Craftsmen/SVC Chapter, serves on the Board of Trustees for the Ned Smith Center for Nature and Art, and is a volunteer at the Gallery on the Square.  Erin resides in Millersburg with her husband Ben and is a pet parent to cockatiels Gracie and Elvis.
