- **Event Description**: In this beginner-friendly workshop with Roxan, you will learn how to create a beautiful sunset necklace on copper in the colors of your choice using colored pencils and gold leaf.

You will learn how to prepare and color metal, then apply gold leaf.

If you choose to do the extra piece, you will learn how to use metal stamps, apply patina, then finish by using rivets to add it to the back.  

Beginners are welcome to register, as no prior skills are needed. Roxan will have Prisma Premiere colored pencils to share, but if you have your own, bring them along.  

All materials, pre-cut copper pieces and tools are included.

Registration fee:
One piece copper necklace:  $50.00 MAAA members / $55.00 non members
For additional copper piece: $20.00 cash payable to the instructor at class

This workshop is held in the upstairs classroom of the Gallery.  Ages 13+ are welcome.

Note:  Roxan O'Brien is a Pennsylvania Guild of Craftsmen Master Artisan who authored two books!
