There is $1,000.00 in prize money awarded to the winners by Mid Penn Bank. Cash prizes will be awarded in oil, watercolor, acrylic, drawing, mixed media and photography. Categories are Professional, Non-Professional and Student. Members and non-members of the MAAA are encouraged to enter. Students in grades 9 - 12 must attend or be living in an area high school district. Each student will be permitted to submit 1 entry. Professional or Non-Professional will be permitted 2 entries. Entries must be original (no copies or prints) and completed within the last two years. Work must not have been entered in a previous MAAA show. All entries must have screw eyes and wire to hang and cannot exceed total dimensions of 62” (Width + Length). No ratchet or saw tooth devices for hanging. Three dimensional items will not be accepted. Cost of registration per entry is: $1.00 for students, $5.00 for members and $7.00 for non-members. A reception with light refreshments will be held at the NSCNA on Fri., Dec. 12th from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Winners will receive their award at 6:30 p.m. The artwork may remain on display (and for sale) at the NSCNA until Sat., Jan. 3rd, 2026.
