- **Event Description**: Sgt. Monica and his partner were killed in the line of duty on June 13, 2017.  The family of Sgt. Monica started a scholarship to keep his memory and legacy alive.  The proceeds of this 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run, go to 2 Seniors at Georgia College Early College to assist them in future college needs.

T-Shirts will be provided for all participants, as well as Chick-Fil-A Biscuits, Awards for top runners and Birthday Cake as Feb. 4th. would have been Sgt. Monica's 51 Birthday.
